Has it only been eight years? Man, it feels like so much longer. No,
wait, I remember running MSAV.EXE under DOS [1]. It does feel like
*decades*

Yep, they just shipped MS06-06 through MS06-16 for patches. However, I
think Trustworthy Computing is just getting started.  By 2015 or so,
all the old unsecure formats will be gone. The new unsecure formats
(fast-tracked into a standard) and secure runtimes and annoying
dialogs should keep the remaining seven users safe... for a while.
