I get this all the time in VFP 7 and 9 (didn't use 8 much), after running
my project in the IDE (not as an .exe, just by running the main .prg).

I don't think it's only related to .vcx classes, as someone said. If I run
my project and shut it down normally, then go into one of my .prg-based
classes and try to edit it, I'll get a "Release from memory? OK/CANCEL"
messagebox.

RELEASE ALL EXTENDED and CLEAR ALL before attempting a build or edit solves
the problem.
