I deal with a VFP9 SP1 app that probably has hundreds of installed sites by now, and I would say that a fair few of those are dual-core machines. Certainly, in situations where it is installed on servers for use remotely via Terminal Services, the servers would almost exclusively by multi-core or multi-CPU. I'm not aware of any issues due to this.
