Hi Michael!

I remember when I was in the service I got to go anywhere I wanted to, you
just had to ask the right officer, nicely. If I lacked any uniform item I had
no problem getting it issued.

One time I was issued an M1 Garand by the Army, and I was in the Air Force. No
problemo, son, just sign here in triplicate, bring it back when the
presentation is over. The officers and men I met in the service were great
guys, and I am glad I had the opportunity to meet them.

I wish I had that Garand now! I love Garands!
