How large is the average file to be uploaded? What's the max size? and what is the minimum connection speed?
If the upload times are too large, it may time out with a typical connection. You may need some sort of control if the files are large or the upload times are large. Also, are you using an Apache server or IIS? I believe that Apache is more configurable.
