I have code running on a client's remote system. To recompile on their system I was receiving the infamous I/O error caused by there not being a CD in the CD-ROM Drive.
Well I couldn't ask anyone to put a CD in the d-drive since it was after hours, so to work around this all I had to do was disable the CD-ROM on the remote host. Hope this helps anyone working on a legacy system. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
