Alan, Works Fine here even if I leave out the "Column Controlsource" for each column and assume it is in field order.
Are you sure you haven't made the whole of the grid readonly? Dave Crozier -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Alan Bourke Sent: 27 February 2007 09:50 To: [email protected] Subject: Accursed VFP9 grid readonly column problem. Once upon a time there was a form, and on that form there lived a grid. It needs to be bound programmatically, so set up the columns at design time with no RecordSources or anything other than size and header captions, and all columns except one as readonly,. The one thaat is NOT readonly has the default textbox removed and a checkbox there instead. Then in code: thisform.mygrid.recordsource = "" select blah from blah into cursor _trans readwrite nofilter select _trans thisform.mygrid.recordsource = "_trans" This leaves the one column that is not readonly bound to a logical field so it should be checked or unchecked in the grid. Fine, except that this column makes itself readonly for some reason and refuses to accept clicks. The underlying cursor is readwrite. The column controlsource is "table.field" form. Any suggestions?
