Andy,
Looks fine to me. Just exactly what were you expecting?
Records two and three get updated and are shown to be so in the XML.

Subject: Re: Updating a table for another table

looking at this I wondered about xmlupdategram() - which I hadn't used so I
had a play -
I didn't get quite the results I expected - try this cose and see if the
browse is what you expect:
drop table xgramtst
CREATE TABLE xgramtst(key I, txt c(25))
INSERT INTO xgramtst values(1,'one')
INSERT INTO xgramtst values(2,'two')
INSERT INTO xgramtst values(3,'tree')
SET MULTILOCKS ON
CURSORSETPROP("Buffering",5)
CURSORSETPROP("keyfieldlist",'key')
UPDATE xgramtst SET txt='three' WHERE key = 3
UPDATE xgramtst SET txt='Two' WHERE key = 2
?XMLUPDATEGRAM()
=TABLEREVERT()
BROWSE
