I posted something from my cellphone the other day on this about using
Kixtart. If you are looking at installing software on a workstation, Kixtart
is an excellent scripting program for just such as this. Do a google search
on it and download the docs. We've used it for years to set up
users/printers/install software/ etc.

FYI LogMeIn's file transfer seems to employ a really good compression 
algorithm and can be significantly faster than straight ftp. I've found 
it on a par with pcAnywhere's transfer speeds. Like Gil, I'm using both 
full Pro and free licenses as appropriate.
