VFP 9 SP1 (I think 9 is much better than 8) I do access the data directly for reading some things but this leaves me the issue of keeping up with structure changes so I dont like the approach. Also I wouldn't want to update the system using direct rights. The downside is that the sdk uses up a licence :(
