Mike, I think that I'm correct in saying/assuming the following: The .FXP is the file that is always executed and this is true if it doesn't even exist as the .prg is compiled immediately after being referenced in order to produce the .fxp which is then run.
I assume that the compilation is done to a temporary file at runtime if it isn't in the .exe compiled file.
