Whil, Yes, you set up the master PC (Windows or Unix/Linux) with the ip addresses of the other slave PC's and the mouse simply tracks from one screen to the next. The only think I found confusing as in not well Explainted was the terminology appertaining the the Slave PC's which was not consistent. Apart from that though it’s a 2 minute install.

I suppose you designate one box as the 'master' to identify which box has the kb/mouse. Knowing me, I'd always forget to flip the switch on the switchbox. And some Linuxi boxen have trouble with kvm switches, so I've been reluctant.
