Hi HALinNY I did something like that many years back. Essentially you would create a series of lists in Excel. One list for zero to nine, another for ten to nineteen, another from twenty to twenty nine, etc.
Based on the number entered, we did a bunch of if conditions and then concatonated the result to another cell which displayed the number in words. We may have had to resort to some VBA, but I'm not certain. In the end the client wasn't quite happy with the result and then we developed a Foxbase solution.
