What goes around, comes around!  You generally get the sort of friends that
you are.

I've only worked for about 3 months in my life since I left school 46 years
ago if you define work as doing something that you don't *want* to do but
are doing it because you need the money.  I was RAF aircrew for 30-odd
years - OK, some tours were better than others but there was only one I
actively dis-liked, and even that had some good points.  After that I was a
mixture of self-employed and working as an IT contractor on very good money
and learning lots every day.  Now I just do what is needful in the winter
and spend the summer cruising the canals of England - magic!  Sure beats
working for a living <g>.
