I can certainly help, as can the folks on the ProPython list, which
is another of the lists I host here. http://leafe.com/mailman/
listinfo/propython.

Python is a very straightforward, easy to read language. The best
advice would be to start going through the tutorials on http://
python.org, and ask questions when you run into something that isn't
clear.

Also, the Rochester Python User Group meets every 2nd Thursday at
RIT from 7pm - 9pm+. Since you're probably off from school next week,
I'd be happy to chauffeur you to and from the meeting. Maybe we can
even drag Gil along!

Well, that's fine. But part of manners is knowing when to be formal
and when to be informal. We're a very informal bunch here, and unless
you tell us, we have no way of knowing if you're a young kid, a
distinguished professor, or a canary that pecks really well on a
keyboard. Remember, on the Internet no one knows you're Canadian, eh?
