I look for Dr. Novella to have a religious experience that will answer all of his questions rather soon. Faith is a gift, but it is offered to everyone. Dr. N is correct that there is a precondition - humility. From the tone of his post I think he has sufficient humility so that when God speaks to him he will listen. Most lifelong atheists that I have met have zero humility, or so close to zero that it may as well be zero. I mean, to believe, they would have to acknowledge that there is someone greater than they are and for most of them that isn't going to happen. > Very interesting blog post: > > Born Believers > http://www.theness.com/neurologicablog/default.asp?Display=73 -- Regards, Pete http://www.pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
