My wife bought a Toshiba laptop with all the bells and whistles last week. I told her a dozen times not to buy Vista. Yesterday the box arrives and she opens it. I look over her shoulder and there is the Vista logo. WHY?!?!?!? She told me that they were going to charge her more for XP than for Vista. The moral of the story: M$ can't even give it away. They have to pay vendors to include it. The sad part is that I spent more time prepping the machine last night than she spent using it. What a phenomenal waste!
