But did the VS product manager really say that in the proper context or did the 
clueless author just glom some words together?

We discussed the possibilities of having core VFP source code opened up and the 
consensus here was that it is not likely.  If you couple that with the rest of 
the quote (VFP customers would not trust a product not made by M$) (sorry, have 
to stop for a laugh) it sure looks like somebody's been nippin' again.

But we shall see (like we have an alternative).
