In the uk you can ask for xp instead of vista I think. Not that I brought a new pc since vista came out. I took vista off my laptop after a test run. Didn’t do much new that was useful and some hardware didn’t want to know. Allen

I need to buy a laptop and all are available with Vista mostly. There are some old apps which I just dont want to redo but still need to make minor changes now and then. Will I be able to do that on a Vista machine. TIA -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter for private users. It has removed 1206 spam emails to date.
