In the uk you can ask for xp instead of vista I think. Not that I brought a
new pc since vista came out. I took vista off my laptop after a test run.
Didn’t do much new that was useful and some hardware didn’t want to know.

Subject: VFP 6/8 on Vista

Hi All,

Has anyone successfully loaded VFP6 or VFP 8 on a Vista Machine and compiled
a EXE.

I need to buy a laptop and all are available with Vista mostly. There are
some old apps which I just dont want to redo but still need to make minor
changes now and then. Will I be able to do that on a Vista machine.

TIA
