If there is a willing gun buyer, there will always be a willing gun seller, even if the transaction were made illegal. If handguns are controlled, the next school massacre might be by shotgun or hunting rifle, or even worse, the attacker might use explosive, or even worse, a chemical, biological or nuclear weapons. The killing has been going on for millions of years, and gun control is not likely to make any difference.
