Wouldn't you be able to include web functionality whilst providing a desktop app?
I've managed to get a webserver running in my app to serve out pages to users with browsers. Using the tiered approach, would it not be possible to pass data from the Business Object out to a user interface tier which spits out html which would be the User Interface tier in a browser? This would be in addition to the normal "Desktop User interface" giving customers two ways to get to their data. That's what Dabo does. It's not YAWF (yet another web framework). There are plenty of excellent web frameworks out there, so if that's what you are looking for, Dabo isn't for you.
