I believe the US constitution guarantees due process among other things like the right to free speech, the right to assemble and protest, the right to freedom in religion, and the right to equality in treatment. The Constitution insure decency within our society, as opposed to mob rule and rush to judgment, which could be based on false or insightful hearsay information.
Rather than simple label someone a traitor, you should at least give the reason your feel as you do. Feeling are neither right or wrong. Feeling are just feeling. Ofter we can not help the way we feel, but at the least you could try and explain why you feel like you do with some actual examples.
