Well, don't let my clients know, but... yes.

Mostly, the python has been glue and little scripts to connect one
thing with the next. I've installed a few python-based apps like
moinmoin, but haven't written any heavy-lifting Python myself yet.
Mostly PHP, but I consider that a stepping-stone....

I've had a couple of opportunities to use Python/Dabo/ReportLab, but
they have fallen through, for typical client reasons, not for anything
technical or because they were in Python...
