I agree, and it would be a possibility once this approach proves itself out,
as the place the newest LTO3 tape cartridges are going to be archived itself
is another processing location that could benefit from this kind of backup
strategy.  I am certain after a little "wait and see" time passes the order
for a 2nd set of LTO3 Tape Drive and media will be placed, and I will be
there to set it up.
