Don't need to. You download the Knoppix iso (www.knopper.org), burn image to CD and boot up from CD. From there, it's a matter of following directions. (I can scan those from the book for you). Or I could try to help, although I'm not a Linux expert either. Also, I have never tried to reset the LOGIN pw on w2k using linux, just used the tools to view existing mail passwords. Finally, as others pointed out, once you're in Linux, you might be able to just scarf up the address books, and not worry about the pws at all. Good luck. -- Vince Teachout Caracal Software www.caracal.net 518-733-9411 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
