Among hard-core geeks? Probably never happen. But I'm sure it has an
effect on the casual user: the guy/gal who uses a Windows PC at work
and out of habit buys a Windows PC for home. I know of 4 families in
my neighborhood who have gotten tired of the malware problems, and
have gotten Macs for their families. I helped one guy who needed to
run a work-related Windows app set up Parallels Desktop, and now he
can run his Windows app side-by-side with Mac apps. Check out http://
