Michael what could happen to your local business environments if the global
warming put a stop to coal burning? See the similar problem that Columbia
faces? Can the farmers grow coffee in the same space and will they get 1/2
the $ per acre in yield within 5 years?
What about all of the people who have jobs in processing, security,
logistics for the drugs? Those people all tend to be part of a family and
when arrested or put out of business by burnt crops, what do they do for
funding?
Four billion sounds like a lot of money, but for the full effect of breaking
the economic cycle of drug production it's probably only a drop in the
bucket.
