Don't know what you class as big screen as Costco are currently selling 60" which don't fit into my 17th Century house, however have always gone with Hitachi.
Quality 42" boxes, no problems that weren't fixed under warranty. Currently running 3 of them (and 2 Samsungs) and would recommend them every time.
