Hi Dave

Thanks for replying. I am going to Dave Couldwells tomorrow to demo the
software I have written for them. I will get in touch on Friday.

Hi Brian

Don't mind doing the work, I have been doing low level stuff since VFP3 so used
to doing that. Just need some pointers as to where to start. One company
running my accounts system was using Sage before and I set up a connection and
pulled all the data, then wrote some small prg's to clean up the data and as an
example change the nominal codes to my coding structure "01-021/01"
Did try pushing some data back but couldn't get it right so, as it was only an
experiment to see if it was possible, I gave up.

Cheers
And thanks to both of you for replying.

Peter

Peter,
Which Line 50 version? It was easily possible with versions up to V8 but the
current version (V12?? I think) needs access to the SDK system developers
kit which is £2K from sage - and you need to be authorised.

Drop me a personal email and I can maybe help.

Subject: RE: Importing Invoices into Sage

Hi,

anyone able to help me with an application that would push transaction
data, in particular Invoices into Sage Line 50.

An application written in VFP or an off the shelf package which is
reasonably priced would suit.

Is Line 50 the best version to work with.

What I would like eventually, is to offer a function in my accounts
which would upload the years transactions into sage, to be presented to
the Accountants who insist on Sage.

TIA

Peter Hart
