Sorry Ted, after I sent it, I realized that I did try this
before, but with the Adobe Acrobat Professional V.8 product.
Hyperlinks (HTML or other types) in a document are disregarded
(not retained) when you print to the "Adobe PDF" printer
driver. I have the 2007 Office Suite and it can "convert"
documents in this manner but also with this limitation. If the
"Adobe PDF" add on were to work with the 2007 Office Suite,
then all those hyperlinks would remain functional in the
converted PDF document.

The Adobe "PDFMaker" is broken for the 2007 Suite, but it
works great with prior Office Suite versions. For this reason
I wondered if the non-Adobe PDF converter (printer driver?)
worked like the "Adobe PDF" printer driver or like the Adobe
"PDFMaker" should work, with the 2007 Office Suite.

* I don't know; I've never tried. What kind of links are
*   you trying to
*   retain? HTML links?
