All the crap that al-Qaeda was spewing was just seen as the rantings of extremists, until we went and proved them correct. So now instead of being a fringe group, they are seen in the Muslim world as relevant and prophetic. Try this for a minute: drop your assumption that the USA is always the "good guy" by default. Try to imagine someone who sees us, with all our wealth and power not as a force for good, but as the schoolyard bully who does whatever he wants. Now look at what we've done in Iraq, and think about what how this reflects on our position as the bully. -- Ed Leafe -- http://leafe.com -- http://dabodev.com [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
