Speaking of enemy activity:

The Dems are caving on the troop withdrawal provision:

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that their strategy has
encouraged Iran and their Al Qaeda friends to use this summer's pre-
Patraeus report period to ramp up their proxy war against us (duh):

Meanwhile of course Bush is caving too, planning to hand Iraq over to
the UN:

It's certainly the smart thing to do politically---since the Dems
have been whining about how (for some inexplicable reason) only the
UN can solve the problem, let them adopt it and watch what happens
(poor Iraq)---but this whole thing is sad to watch because of the
manner in which political expediency has gotten the upper hand over
common sense and principle on all sides of the ostensible 'debate'.

If the Dems had not engaged in this unbelievable propaganda war to
demonize the President, we might have been able to crush the
terrorists in Iraq and given Iran all the incentive it needed to "do
the right thing". Instead, having gotten their precious power back,
the Dems have "lead" us to the point now that Iran is feeling its
oats and openly supporting the terrorists, and everyone is ducking
for cover.

If something is falling yet, it will be soon. Sadly, we have assumed
that position.
