Imagination Technologies, the leading provider of technology
solutions for the background screening industry, is now seeking to fill
a full time, permanent position to design, develop, enhance, maintain
and support its suite of products at our Monroe office just outside of
Charlotte, NC.
Applicant's job responsibilities in this position will involve
continued software development using Visual FoxPro 9.0 (w/ Sedna) and
.NET to support and enhance our employment screening software package
and other associated applications for our client base and in-house
operations. Applicant will also serve as the primary development
department liaison to our front-line technical support analysts.
Applicant should be a self-motivated individual who works well
without supervision, but also has the ability to work productively in a
team environment, showing mutual respect for others in the office as
well as our clients. He or she must have strong analytical and
communication skills. A degree or equivalent work experience with a
working knowledge of Xbase languages is also a must.
Experience in HR or background screening, as well as with Foxpro,
VFP, OOP, .NET, and SQL are a BIG plus but not required for the right
individual. Other skills that are desired for this position include a
knowledge of the full software lifecycle, XML, ADO.NET, VB.NET, C#, ASP,
and Web Services.
We offer a casual, yet busy, work environment with competitive

days. Our normal office hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with the
flexibility to work various timeslots within those hours. Some extra
hours will be required in this salaried position to meet certain
deadlines each quarter, but this will not be the norm.
