Iraq in all her ciaos makes it difficult to know the good, form the bad, from the ugly, and only time will tell how some men will eventually be classified. Still, I feel, in order for Iraq to be restored and move forward towards her former self, absent Saddam Hussein, some leader must emerge that can unify the country, and the Shiite led Maliki government seem to be too weak, too biased, and too dependent/beholding to the U.S. military to fill the bill. The Maliki government practically pledges allegiance to America (eg the Bush Administration), rather than pledging allegiance to Iraq and the Iraqi people. Perhaps the best thing the U.S. could do is just pull out of Iraq and let the Iraqi people sort things out.
