Let me be clear: we have a democracy. Technically a democratic republic,
but the central point is that the people control the gov't and not the
other way around. Events playing out in our foreign policies show that
we are threatened by the rising force of fascism, and we must defend
ourselves from that happening, and that's what some of us are working to
do.

I'd hope that folks like yourself want to help us, but it's not much
help if you take what we do say and make something else out of it.
