So when you complete the requirements, are you going to provide an
equivalent "day"?
It would actually be more of an expense and a hassle for schools to
deal with all of the edge cases than it is to let the kids go through
the motions while withholding the diploma. College and job
applications don't want to see graduation pictures; they want to see
a diploma.
