The whole thing is silly. I remember my first job out of college, they took a dbase iii program and ported it to the VAX.
So I said, "Why the hell are we taking a dbase iii program and re-writing it in Oracle? It works fine under dBASE" "Because we can bill a lot more for Oracle programming hours".
