I've been using a prg from Gilles Patrick and it has been working great
for me.  I haven't been using it on files but I've been using it to
store the MD5 hash of passwords in a MySQL table.

I've forgotten where I downloaded it.

I see there is one on the downloads page here at Leafe.com by Dan
Covill.  I'm not sure why I didn't go with that one.  Dependencies probably.
