Sorry, I don't think I have explained this at all well.

The interactive event of the LIST box is not firing after the valid
event. In theory it should because you are interactively changing the
value of the LIST box when you click on it (This fires the Valid event
of the edit box).

Ok, so in summary... (lol)

The user selects a new entry in the LISTBOX, this fires the valid event
in the EDITBOX and asks the user if they want to update the list. If
they say yes or no, then the code allows them to leave the EDITBOX into
the LISTBOX which is when the interactivechange event of the LISTBOX
should fire because the value has now changed (which it doesn't).

The valid event fires before the control looses focus, correct?

Thanks

Tristan

Subject: Re: Valid event screwing with click event?

Maybe I'm missing something but once you get to the Valid, haven't you
effectively left the object? (Assuming that the valid returns .t., of
course) Why would you expect the interactivechange to fire again?

Turning on event tracking can be quite helpful when you're trying to
determine the sequence behavior.
