I sent this message on 9th but apparentlt it didn't get through: I need to get RGB values for colors intermediate between two colors.
E,g, RED - Dark pink - Medium pink - Light pink - WHITE or RED - Reddish orange - Orange - Yellowish orange - YELLOW I'm sure somebody must have done this before. Ideas ? Suggestions ? Thanks Paul Newton Anyway, I thought I'd play around with this and started off by simply getting the differences in the Red, Green and Blue components of the two (first and last) colours and then interpolating R, G and B values for the colors in between. Then I thought, I wonder what would happen if I tried the same thing but using Hue, Saturation and Luminance. Then I thought, what would I get if I interpolated just one or two of the components (say R & G, or H & S) instead of all three. Anyway, in case anybody is interested the results can be seen here: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/paul.a.newton/ColorGradients.jpg Cheers ! _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
