One laptop has 1.5GB using Vista and mainly Office 2007. It's working OK
although not "Aero capable", like who cares anyway.

A new desktop with a 256MB video card and 2GB RAM runs using Office 2007 and
QuickBooks is working OK. Vista is a RAM hog and if running Aero (as the
desktop does) I would recommend at least 2GB.

I'm not even venturing to do any development under Vista for a few more
months.
