        That is almost exactly what he said.

        No, the inspectors reported quite the opposite. They simply  
complained that the US had set too quick a deadline to complete the  
inspections, which the US ignored. Then, after the invasion revealed  
no WMD, Rumsfeld chastised those who asked about the WMD by stating  
that Iraq is a very big place, and that it would take a long time  
before they could complete their search. Funny how a couple dozen  
inspectors were given a few short months, while the entire US army  
needed several years to do the same thing.
