>> Anyone know off hand if the SP1 Beta just released can be uninstalled? I've just been asked and not having downloaded it yet I can't give an answer.<<
My recommendation is to create a second folder and install over this one. Never count on a Beta uninstalling or even being stable (although my experience with the VFP betas since VFP 7 are very much non-destructive and stable). Still, if you are installing this on a production development machine you need to tread very carefully or you could accidentally compile and release the beta runtimes to your customers. I have detailed what I do on my blog: 1) http://rickschummer.com/blog/2006/10/vfp-9-sp2-and-sedna-ctp-not-production_13.html 2) http://rickschummer.com/blog/2005/09/VFP-9-SP1-Installation-Tip.html Rick White Light Computing, Inc. www.whitelightcomputing.com www.swfox.net www.rickschummer.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
