Having a few 5GB Virtual PC 2007 VHD's caused my 250GB drive to reduce to 90GB free seemingly overnight. I added a second 250GB drive and moved them to there. No Restore points added for that drive, and I've got over 160GB free on my C: again. The Restore points are a nice secondary thing to have, but not at a cost of having NO space on the drive.
