Yep sorry not caught up with this for a while.

Before I do, I have one slight problem with it.

The default trimming is kicking in before my autofit code.

So lets say

"TEST THIS STRING TO SEE IF IT FITS"

gets trimmed to

"TEST THIS STRING TO SEE IF..."

now my autofit code works on the later of the two strings because fox has
trimmed before my listener has kicked in, any one got any idea how to get in
before fox or to disable trimming all together.
