Sounds like your good to go, including the ability to run Windows Vista 
in a VM.  I assume your VMware workstation is running on Linux.

Competition is intense in the virtual machine space right now.  It's 
hard to believe that VMware is giving away GSX, which allow anyone to 
run Virtual Servers.  This would be great for a IT department that is 
running three or four separate server using different OS(s), like Linux 
for web and mail, Windows 2003 Server for the accounting department, 
Solaris for the engineering department, and perhaps Mac osX for a 
database server.  GSX would allow the servers to be consolidated for 
better utilization of resources and easier management, but GSX is way 
more that I care to get into.  I really don't have the time to learn, 
run, maintain three or four different OS(s). <g>
