UK ranks higher than the USA on the economic freedom index published by the
Heritage Foundation.  The UN Development Programme has both countries ranked
in the top 10 of its Human Development Index.  Neither country had a city in
the top 10 of the personal safety and security city index and neither
country ranked in the top 20 of the survey of average annual consumption of
cigarettes per head per day.  Greece topped that poll by a fairly wide
margin.  Graham.
