Hi all The filer (either as a standalone SCX, or as the VCX used in the task pane manager) seems to me to have at least one glaring shortcoming - when you double-click or use the edit button on a file in the search results list, the "edit" invoked is "dumb". In particular if the file is a DBF I would expect the default "edit" action to be open/browse the DBF. Alas, this is not so.
I am thinking I might have a go at modifying this behaviour unless, of course, somebody has already done this and would care to share their efforts ? If not, would anybody be interested in (my) modified filer if and when ... ?
