Hi Dave!

Never thought of Desk based but with a web interface! Whatever the technique
is, I want the data to wind up on the sun-health.org web host's server, any
way to get the data there is ok. I suppose the desk based would mean that the
doctor could unplug and still use it, say on a house call with a hand held -
that would be a good thing. Some doctors will have mac, linux, or whatever
that hand portable OS is, most will be Windows 95 or later. It would have to
update every time the doctor connected?

If it is desk based, the private data could stay on the doctor's own machine,
the organization gets "male, UK, age 32" but not the patient's private
contact data? Some patients will volunteer contact data, but not all.

There is not a requirement for PHP. My local guru LIKES PHP, but anything that
I can use with no budget for software would be ok. Not easy to work with no
budget, but that is life in the slow lane.

I confess ignorance of the two modes! I understand about the changing horses.

I had a BUNCH of VFP 5 screens set up, but then I discovered a most
embarassing basic flaw in my logic and I was back to square one! Next time I
set up screens I want to do it in a cross platform tool. The tool has to be
free or at least cheap. Maybe even dabo?

After I get the screens set up someone has to get me started with a code
example to make them work. With one example, all the questions are similar,
I can just adapt the code example to each question, and most of them will
work. I hope.
