They began in 1933 with the banning of Jewish scientists and academics.  Big
gain for the west (Albert Einstein for one) and a huge loss for Germany.  It
was later in 1938 when they annexed the cities of Vienna and Prague with
their large Jewish populations that the extermination began in earnest.  But
this rounding up is a knee jerk reaction based purely on discrimination and
scapegoating against an entire population and so very similar to the Nazi
attitude to the Jews.  Do you really believe that this is practical or will
lead to a kind of splendid isolation that will solve anything?  And how far
is such a proposal from muslims swinging in the trees? It certainly sets the
stage for that.  The overwhelming majority of American muslims are good
citizens.  Graham.
